The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you. Psalm 32:8 NLT

Back in July/August of this year, as we were preparing to move, I began to notice every for sale or for rent sign available. My eyes almost subconsciously scoured the streets as I drove looking for a strategically planted sign at the top of a street indicating where to turn. Its as though I had suddenly woken up and was now fully aware of things previously ignored or unnoticed.

Likewise, when we are suddenly aware of God and tune into Him and His things, you look for Him everywhere. Thankfully, you don’t have to look far to find Him because I believe He is truly represented everywhere.
The field of beautiful purple wildflowers along the highway, the lush green grass in a rolling field, the setting sun painting a canvas of pink and orange hues as it says goodnight. I love how God used nature to speak to us and to inspire.

Just as the for sale sign tells us which street to turn down, the Father also does the same. He puts His Holy Spirit within us so that we have the best compass possible. He gives us clues and signals and sometimes speaks audibly, showing us exactly what to do and where to take the next turn. He is the best roadmap we could ever have.

God is saying to wake up and take notice of what’s going on around you. Is someone hurting that you could speak an encouraging word to? Is there someone in financial need for which you could assist? Or maybe an elderly neighbor needs their yard mowed? Look for ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus today out and about within your community and area of influence, and watch to see your life begin to transform.

So if you are unsure of what to do next or maybe contemplating a physical move as we were, seek the One that can bring comfort in the midst of the moving chaos. Let the Holy Spirit guide you and enjoy the adventurous road He leads you down.

Bottom line: be aware of God; find Him in everything; wake up and be the hands and feet of Jesus. There is a need that you were uniquely created to fill. He will be the best compass showing you where to turn. Be excited daily. 🙂 Wake up with excitement and a sense of new adventure.

Isaiah 30:20 “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
